So begins my first BLOG. Yippee!!
Little bit about me...............I'm in the second third of my life, married for over 30 years and have a hound dog named Marley whom I adore. I have been through the usual and some not-so-usual experiences life can throw at you that have shaped me in ways I never expected which means I'm still growing and developing as a human being. My filters are not what they used to be so sometimes things come out of my mouth that would not have in years past. I do not think this is such a bad thing as I believe it makes me a more genuine and honest person. I am of the belief that swearing is cathartic and am tickled that it's been scientifically proven that, if used in moderation, it is psychologically and physically beneficial. I feel I'm more of an introvert than extrovert, however, I am known to indulge in the occasional spontaneous spastic display of non-conformist behaviour which involves some of the worst dance moves known to man performed on the spot in my driveway or the parking lot behind my office to music streaming from my truck cab. (I strongly suggest this for anyone that needs to "let it out" and am pretty sure it qualifies as an aerobic exercise if done with complete abandon ;) I have a quirky sense of humor (juvenile jokes that involve bodily functions will still get me snickering like a grade schooler), a loving heart and sincere intention to pass along only good things to those I meet, which, for a recovering mostly type-A personality, is sometimes a challenge. I am a fierce defender of everyone's right to be healthy, safe and live the life that makes them happy. I love that I am blessed in what I do for a living and am constantly seeking out and learning more about what supports, improves and promotes better health and well-being so I can be of better service to myself and others. My intention with this blog is to share information about anything and everything I find that could be of use to enrich and improve the lives of whomever reads it. So, I dedicate this blog to you my friends for our greater good that we may seek and find and enjoy the journey together. Namaste.
